Hi Louise,

Thank you for all your care and understanding this Fall when I came to you for help in finding a new home. You were very understanding and patient as I changed my mind several times about the type of house I wanted to buy. After each viewing that you set up, you signaled in on what type of house I wanted and we finally found the right one. Throughout the process, you were there with me every step of the way and I was especially impressed with your negotiation skills, your knowledge of the market and your knowledge of “how to fix and clean” things. When we went through my house the first time, after the house inspection and during closing, you gave me a lot of great tips on how to improve things without spending a fortune. Just like the MasterCard commercial, those tips were priceless! They showed me how much knowledge you had about the real estate industry.  If anyone reading this is looking for a new agent, I would highly recommend Louise for all of the reasons noted above. She will work very hard for you, listen to what you want, negotiate wisely and never put pressure on you. To The Jim Burton Re/Max Real Estate Team,

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Joanne Waugh for her guidance, support, and complete professionalism in aiding me in purchasing my new home. We all know what a huge investment a home is and how unsure we can be to whether we are making not just the right choice, but the best choice. Joanne went out of her way to ensure that I had all the right tools and information to find that perfect home for me.

As a second home buyer I came into this purchase with many of the typical reservations some home owners have about real estate agents and mine were from first-hand experience; a real estate agent who didn’t listen, pushing houses on me above my maximum budget, not being prepared at showings, and with no background work completed on the property.

This was the exact opposite with Joanne, which gave me great comfort and turned what was a stressful disappointment into a pleasurable experience. Joanne came to viewings with extensive background information on the homes and area, was extremely knowledgeable about the pros and cons of each house, catered to my limited availability, gave me lots of great ideas about how the house could be a home for me when the houses were particularly cluttered or difficult to view, was the voice of reason when we encountered any setbacks, and most importantly, Joanne listened to what I wanted and adapted when I changed anything throughout the process.

I would like to take an opportunity, as well, to recognize that perhaps I wasn’t the easiest client in the world and thus, I’ll heap an extra serving of kudos on Joanne’s plate. I’m told this is not normal, but Joanne showed me 13 houses and worked with me in talking about/looking at, 19 total. The reason I didn’t think this was a problem was not only because I took purchasing a home very serious, but because Joanne was a complete professional throughout the whole process. Joanne was an excellent sounding board to all my questions and concerns and expertly drew on her past experiences that were relative to each property. I’m also told that most real estate agents probably would have choked me by that point – ha!

All joking aside, I couldn’t have asked for a more professional and personal experience with Joanne as she guided me every step of the way in finding my perfect home while following up with me afterwards to make sure that my new house wasn’t a wolf in sheep’s clothing.

All I can say, in conclusion, is don’t let this one get away because I haven’t stopped singing Joanne’s praises to anyone who will listen since my new house closed.

I can’t say enough about the great experience we had dealing with you and Erco development. You sold our new home and guided through the process of buying a new one. Your advice was delivered in a non-biased, professional manner and you made yourself available at our convenience. We felt that our concerns were your top priority, always handling them in a timely manner.  Your diligence was evident even in the final walk-through. We were very pleased with our exchanges with Erco development, especially with Brian Saunders. This is our fourth new home and his attention to detail and commitment to the highest workmanship standards is by far, without compare, better than any of our previous experiences. We were recently clients of one of your Real Estate Agents and we wanted to touch base with you and make you aware of our experience.

Elvis Loveless was our Realtor for the purchase of our first home on Mayfair Ave.  We had been in contact with other agents before, all of whom seemed to be working for themselves, with little interest in what we were looking for.  Upon meeting Elvis, we quickly knew he was different.  We could tell he was a genuine, honest individual who wanted to put good people into great homes.  Within a few minutes of meeting Elvis and conversing with him, you know that he can be trusted and that he is going to do the best job he possibly can for you.  He is not trying to sell a house; he is trying to help people find their home.  Over the course of our purchase, Elvis was always there to answer our questions, responded promptly and effectively to our emails, and allowed us to view our house even outside regular business hours.  He never became impatient with us or our inquiries, of which there were many, and always greeted us with a warm smile and friendly attitude.  On closing day, Elvis was there with us every step of the way. Many Thanks Louise 

I walk into the Re/Max Plus office one Thursday morning not quite knowing how to begin to look for my new home. When Louise greeted me with a smile and asked me how I was doing.  It was a crucial time in my life and she put me at ease right away with her smile.

I told her my situation and I felt very comfortable and relaxed.  I sat in her office and we talked first before anything came up about me buying a house.

I told her what I was looking for and she was very accommodating in my suggestions.

I walk out that office that day feeling very comfortable knowing that Louise was there to help me in every way she possible could. She called on a daily bases, filling me in on houses that came up knowing what I would be interested in, which I thought was very professional.  Louise suggested several houses and we looked at them all. 

When finally I found the house I was looking for. I needed to look at it several times and Louise had no problem in doing that no matter what time of the day I called.  She was not only a Realtor but a person who cares and understands her client’s needs, which I felt was exactly what I needed.

I purchased this house on Paddy Dobbin, which know I call my home and to this day Louise still checks in on me to see how I am doing and never did I think I would meet a Realtor that day,  that now I  call my Friend.

 I only wish that other Clients will have the opportunity that I did to come across Realtor like Louise Maddigan.  She is a person that goes above and beyond her job.

When I accepted a job in St. John's, the task of finding a home for my family was daunting to say the least. We had never lived here before and needed to find a home close to our daycare. Louise was the first person we called amongst many agents. We were peppering the market with information requests trying to find any and all the help that was out there. Louise was the ONLY person to consistently keep in touch with us. She was the only person who seemed truly interested in earning our business.

We came to town for a weekend to look at some homes. We visited 16 houses in less than 24 hours thanks to Louise. She framed the homes we viewed in terms of our needs, not our wants. She kept us on track, and we now own what I call our "dream home" - or as close as we'll get without hitting the lottery.

During the course of our listing, Elvis went above and beyond what we ever expected of a real estate agent. When we decided to move back to St. John's after living out west for several years, our property in Calgary sold very quickly. We soon found ourselves sharing a TINY one-bedroom apartment with the rest of our "family" - two German Shepherds and a cat. Needless to say, we had to find a new home as soon as we could!
